The little star boarder along the bottom was made using my Marianne die
with a little bit of pink ribbon through.
Finished of with a little bling.

Fairy Dust- Allsorts Sketch Challenge WK151

First thanks to my new followers. It's lovely to see a few more so thanks to you all for popping in.
I'm sorry I have been missing of late, what with illness I've not been feeling like doing much.
The other big reason as some of you know I've just started a new job and having to work Full-Time to get my training done. Well I can't say too much as I'm lucky to have a job as many people are out of work. With my job I couldn't fund my habit, that's the crafting one before you say anything !!!!

I managed to get a few hours in my cabin on Sunday afternoon; it's been missing me so much.
After trying to catch up on my blogger, boy some of you have been very busy. I will do my best to get caught up with my blog visits and comments. I have been inspired with the sketch layout from Emma over on allsorts blog challenge. It was so funny and layouts are a great way to give you inspiration.
Well that's enough waffle from me, here goes with my card for the challenge

I have used Lyndsay Mason fairy stamp set, after distressing I have covered it with glossy accents.
Distress inks- Dusty Concord, Stormy sky
Some paper from my little stash,( sorry not sure who's).
I have used a black piece of card stamped, which I used Stampin-up whisper white and a one of my background stamps (sorry I can't remember who's)
Seam binding which has been coloured with distress inks to match and ruffled up
Not forgetting the pearls on the corners.
I have used this for the Allsorts Challenge - Wk151 Sketch

My tidy up - storage

Well the sun is shining as I type this, but the clouds are coming over, so guess I’ll enjoy it while I can.

I guess some of you may have been wondering what I’ve been up to, well I have been in my Crafty cabin.
Not crafting as in making cards but as I organising my stuff. I’m so pleased with how things are looking, but have it say it took a lot longer than excepted.

I have made a list of my folders on my computer, and then I have made little slip pocket for each folder, and printed little tabs for the tops.

I did have a little help from my lovely Ally who helped me make the swashes for each embossing folder.

Here are the finished boxes, so pleased.

I have also taken a picture of my storage box for my promarkers (I have to say it’s not all my idea as Lou/Pop have very kindly shared the fish egg tray idea). I had the cd case before so just made a few alterations and there we have it, Fi’s storage box.

Then on to my spinner on my desk its fab I have my lovely stamping up stamps all together and easy to get my hands on!!!  I have then got some of my sizzix dies out so to be able to use them more, they have been in a storage bag. You know what it’s like if you can’t see them then you just forget about them, or think I’ll use something else as it’s out.

Well I hope you have enjoyed have a little look at my storage and things, hope it’s given you some idea’s if you wanted any.
Thanks for popping by and look forward to seeing to soon

Golfing Birthday

Quick card today it was my wonderful Hubby's Birthday at the weekend and I wanted to make him a golf themed card. I had a good look through my stash and couldn't find what I wanted. Of to the internet and on to Craft's U Print where I found this lovely card to print. I know it was very lazy of me but I just wanted something on the golf theme and different from last few years.
Please forgive me but I just wanted to share it with anyway, as it's still very lovely.

Golden Wedding Anniversary

Today the card I have to share with you is a card I have made for a friend at work.
It's her Mum and Dads Golden Wedding Anniversary and she came to see me and asked if I would make a card for her. Wow what an honour to be asked to make a card for such a special occasion.
I have used an 8 x 8 card. After a little look through my paper stash I found wedding papers. Most were more of a silver wedding theme but then the last two pages were just perfect.
They had a lovely golden theme.
I used my Cricut to cut the shape for the centre one a little larger than the other.
I cut some gold swirls with a Marianne die.
I used the lovely rolled rose and edged with my Soft Suede Stampin-up ink.
The little leaf was made using the Marianne punch and emboss leaf.
Finished of with a few gems.
Thanks for dropping in, love to hear your comments.

Funky Hands Challenge- Celebrating Spring

Well I can't beleive the lovely weather we're having it makes you feel so much brighter.
I have had a busy few days in my Craft cabin with the sun shining through my blinds and open door, it's so nice. I love to be able to go to my cabin and sit with the door open and listen to the world go by, it so peaceful and pleasant with birds singing.
Ok back to what I was surposed to be doing, showing you and telling you about what I have done.
This birthday card which I'm entering in the Get Funky
The papers are from Craft the year Away CD, I have chosen to use Marching on Collection as I loved the colours and thought as the month is March it woud be lovely.
The Ribbon is from my LITTLE Collection (I can hear you girls shouting little !!!), I have a bit of a thing for ribbon; must get a couple of rolls everytime I go somewhere. A girl can never have enough ribbon!
I used one of my nesties to cut the centre piece and stamped Happy Birthday.
Oh next for the exciting bit, I have loved and wanted this stamp set for so long, it's a stampin-up set (Vintage vogue) which I have used to stamp the flowers and the foilage around the edge.
Not forgetting the ink being used was island indigo, so a big thanks to Hev for enabling me with this purchase !!!!
Thanks for popping in, hope you like my creation.
I always love to hear your comments.

Ally's Famous

I'm sorry I just can't resist in sharing my news with you all.
As reported previously Ally had his Birthday party at Frontline Combat.
Well while we were there the owner took a few pictures and after looking through he asked if it would be OK to use this one on the new leaflet and advert in the local school magazine .
Wow Ally was soooooo excited when we went into town at the weekend only to bump into Matt and the team handing out the leaflets.
Ally was so made up armed with a handful of them, he took them to school to give to his friends.

Penny Black Challenge - Week 190

Not forgetting all the other lovely comments from my lovely followers,
it's so very much appreciated.
This week we had a lovely sketch challenge to follow.
I have used a some papers from a little stack a papers I had, sorry I can't see a name on it but's very nice. I have used another of the StickerRoos I had hiding in my draw, oh they are soooo pretty, now I know why I have had them hidden.

Cricut Workshops

Hi Back again today. Sorry to disappoint you all no card. I have my two long days at work Tues/Weds so no me time. I thought what a great time to tell you all about my news. Well the lovely Jo Channon (yes as seen on Create and Craft) from Let's Create at Coningsby, has asked me if I would do some Cricut classes over at her shop. Wow what a lovely welcome I had too, full classes both times and hope to make it a regular thing. My next class is going to be on the Cricut Design studio, and before you all start shouting Craftroom. As you all know it's great but only if you can have internet connect where ever you are, unfortunately we don't. I Love the Cricut Design Studio for that reason, it's portable and can be seen on the large screen. It just opens a whole new outlook on the Cricut and lets you untilise your cartridges to mix them together. So if you or anyone you know might like to join us please don't hesitate to contact me or Jo (or Mark at the shop).

Today I have a card to share with you that I’ve had lots of fun making. My Pal came over to see me yesterday and we spent most of it chatting and looking at the lovely Stampin up stuff I got for my Birthday. Ummmm I found some beautiful papers to use on this card, for my little collection. I made the butterfly up a little while ago and was waiting for that special card to use it on. It was created with a stencil and paste, then a sprinkle of glitter to make it sparkle, sparkle it does. I have used the sketch over on Fetch A Sketch so would like to enter it in there wonderful challenge. I would always like to enter it in this month’s challenge over on Going Buggy which is Butterfly and Lace. Thanks for popping in and watch this space we may even get another posting before the months out.!!!! but don't hold your breath
