Challenge Me Monday - #152 Luck O' the Irish

Well it's been a very busy fortnight here in Craftbugmum land, I've just started doing painted letters.  So have been trying to get so samples done. for people can see the different options.

Over on Fantabulous Cricut BlogSpot this week the challenge is Luck O' the Irish.

Well it's a bag of gold from me this week. I made the bag using Tags, bags, boxes and more, along with A Child's Year. I've really enjoyed doing it and think it's super cute. As you can see I have cut the clover out of the bag front, this was done using my Cricut Design Studio.   I placed some acetate behind the hole after the clover was cut out. The clover was given the inking treatment, I just love to ink the edges of things. It was then embossed and stuck onto the acetate.
Oh nearly forgot to tell you about the gold that's inside the bag, Yummy Yummy gold. :)

Well that's enough from me for the time being, enjoy you day  whatever you are doing.
Please call back later and I may have had change to load some of the  letters I have done.

This bag is for the super challenge over on

WOW Spotlight Sunday

WOW, I just don't know what to say. I was so shocked (well I need a stronger word) and truly honoured when I  received an email from the lovely Erin over on Fantabulous Cricut  to appear on a spotlight Sunday.

I love to play in my cabin and make bits and pieces, it helps me switch off after a busy day at work. I use my Cricut and laptop to create different designs and love the flexibility to be able to make this in such a personal way.

I've just started to do wooden letters and I'm loving them, but they do take longer than I anticipated.

Well It's Mothers Day here in the UK so need to go get dressed to go and see our Mums.

Take care and please pop over to Fantabulous Cricut and leave them a comment

Challenge Me Monday - #150 Fun with Puns

Back today with a quick make for the wonderful challenge over on Fantabulous Cricut - Fun with Puns. This week the challenge was to make a creation using a pun, so lets hope this fits like a glove (sorry couldn't resist)

I have used
Life is a beach for the Whale and waves.
Indie art for the clouds along with a computer sentiment.
Adding some glossy accents on the whales spray and glitter on the waves.
Not forgetting a little bit of ink to soften the edges.

Been a busy week for me, work for the first half.  Lunch with a special friend on Thursday who is about to start her chemo so lots of chatting had to be done (god love her).
Got a busy weekend ahead as I have my lovely Cricut Club here in Lincoln so have a little project to prepare and lots of stuff to get together.  I have a lovely bunch of ladies and gentlemen (yeah we have two now so that's fab) who get together once a month. I take my carts which are available for all to use (yeah sorry sometime it leads to them falling in love and having to purchase they own), and this also allows me to share my passion for the Cricut.  It give me so much pleasure to see people using they machine and enjoy what they make.  Well lets enough waffle from me, don't want to bore you all.

Pop over to Fantabulous Cricut -Challenge Me Monday - #150 Fun with Puns  and see the wonderful creation from the DT.

I added a little glitter on the lips, cos what girl doesn't like a bit of bling.

I have also used my embossing folder to create the music notes around the boarder. Not forget this is a shaker card (sorry the photo doesn't show it off to well) which is full of music notes and stars.

I have used one of my stamps to stamp the star with musical note sheet.

Banner

Back with a short post for you today.
I've made a couple of banners for my nieces bedrooms.
I need something to keep my mind distracted as I had some very sad news on Friday.
My uncle passed away so I wanted a little project to distract me and put a smile
 on someones face.
I had a little womble about and found cuttlebug challenge and felt my little make would fit in just great
I cut the banner on my cricut along with the letters.
These have been inked around the edge and letters put through swiss dots embossing folder.
Ribbon has been threaded through with bows at each joint.
Not forgetting a bit of bling it just wouldn't be complete without.
