Funky Hands - Tag It Challenge

Morning all it's very early here, I'm working by moonlight still. What with poorly children there is no time for Mum's to sleep, we need to tend to there ever need. Well this is a first for me although I have many of the CD's and several downloads of the Funky hands Papers I have never joined in on a challenge before.
I'm having a printer problem at the moment in which it is choosing when and when not to work. If it does it decide to print then you have no choice what colour, it's sometime clear sometimes not. For this Funky Hands Tag It challenge
I have used my Funky Christmas papers from a download I purchased over in the shop.
My new Martha Stewart punch I purchased at the NEC down the edge.
The tag was cut on the old faithful Cricut, and a little Penny Black stamp.
I have used my promarkers to colour the image.
I was having a little play and used my promarkers on the side of the ribbon on the tag, to give it a little lift and match the papers.

BBTB2 - Hello kitty Challenge

I know it's a strange hour of the day for me to be up but I have two poorly children and hubby has the bug too. It's great being a mum, when you get that little tap on the shoulder in bed " Mum I've just been sick" never mind I as get up from my pillow. OMG it's every where all over his room. That's enough you get the drift his not well. So that's why I'm up a 2.45am typing this.
This week I have felt brave enough to spread my wings and try something new. Over on BBT2 the challenge is Hello Kitty Greeting. Oh I thought I don't use this cart very often good change to have a look. My LITTLE brain was wizzing with ideas but what would do. Yeah you guessed I loaded up CDS (well it's always open really) and that where it all began. I have used Acetate and cut out the centre on the tree to hang Little Kitty like a decoration. It's a lovely cart, it has the silhouette of the tree which I cut in card.
Ohhhh out came the glitter, well it is nearly Christmas. Every card needs a bit of glitter to make it sparkle. Hope you like it, had great fun

Christmas Penguins

Well I thought I would share some of my Christmas cards I have been busy making I think there are super cute penguins. I have used my Cricut to cut a little frame (storybook) and little snowflake (Accent Essentials). The Penguins are Pergamano Vellum - Penguins, which I just felt were super cute. I needed a little Merry Christmas stamp but couldn't find one small enough. Out came the peel offs to see if I could find one small enough, I know it could have done with being smaller but that was all I had. The backing papers are some of those I have in my stroke it box, but felt I had to use them, I know it's said but you have to let go sometimes. Ohh it's soooo hard.
I made one into a little shaker but it's hard to see in the photo.

Scrapbook Sisters challenge 11

This is my card for Scrapbook Sisters challenge 11 Christmas Tree theme

I thought as I have now managed to finish it I would share it with you all, due to lots of requests!!!!
I made a card at Clare's (Cloudnine crafts) on one of my Thursday night visits. I loved it and wanted to make a card with what I had, as I didn't have the die cutters we used. As much as I would have like them, we can't have everything !!!
I hope you like it as much a I do, it was great fun even if it took me long enough to get it done. Why are days so short, there's never enough hours to do everything.
Well best get on as I have a few more things to finish and share with you all.

Mojo Monday 164 -Snowman

YEAH I back again I know two days in a row but don't get excited I can't keep it up !!!!! lol
This is my first attempted at a sketch challenge so lets hope I did it right, I tried my best.
I love this snowman stamp, used with my scalloped oval and oval nestie for the centre. The sentiment is from my Papermania stamp set and the SU punch. The papers are some trimcraft papers I had which I haven't used as they are so pretty, just liked to stroke them but as there was a couple of pieces, I could use one and still have one to keep !!! lol The distress ink came out to soften the edges of the pink card, with a little stitching down the edge, and blue organza ribbon to finish. Here the link for the challenge http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2010/11/mojo-monday-164.html

Snowman - G is for Glitter on ABC challenge

Well I know I haven't been on for a long time but I'm back with a one of my Christmas cards. I made this lovely snowman card with the super cute Tilda Snowman I got from the lovely Clare at cloudnine crafts. We did a fab evening class and made a card in this shape, I just couldn't wait to get going and make another with a different design. It's such a great shaped card. I have been very brave and entered it in the challenge over on ABC Challenge, G is for glitter. I have used my new wonderful Martha Stewart Snowflake punch down the side with glitter stands sprinkled on to sparkle them up. It looks much better in real life and it looks like crystals. I'll never get a job as a photographer, but try my best !!! lol I have used my ever growing promaker collection to colour him in, adding some glitter on his hat trim and again on the snowflake he is holding, little bit of distressing Ink around the edge.

I used a lovely padded Merry Christmas ribbon I had to add a bit of squidgyness (that's a new word) to it. Well thanks for dropping by and having a look hope you enjoyed looking as much as I did making it.
