Elephant wobbler

Well this is the first creation from the Crafty Cabin.
I made these cards for my mum's friend.
She asked for cards for her Nephew's (twins) who will be five.
I worked very hard at designing these and was a little worried I wouldn't get them done.
What with the move I haven't had much time to get any crafting done.
I used foam pads to make these elephants look 3d.
I have added a little homemade wobbler on the trunk.
Finished off with some google eyes.
I chalked around the edges.
I'm trying to organise my stamps at the moment, which is going very well thanks to my army of helpers, Lou and Hev who popped over for a coffee and were met by a pile of stamps.
Thanks girls.

NEW HOME

Well Hi everyone and thanks for popping in, I'm sorry I've not been around much but I will be back in action this month now the big move is almost complete. I'm so happy with my new home. I have worked so hard and lost all my nails in the process, but that's a small price to pay for such a lovely home to play in.

First weekend it was the base, that was hard work, then next to lay the slabs. Now this was the exciting part we started to build I was the labourer (Boy did I work hard, my back ached so much the next day I could hardly move). Next day The job was to paint it that was fun, I think i has as much on me as the cabin did. I have to say an extra BIG THANKS to my super friend Margaret who has spent so much time helping me move I couldn't have done it without her, so BIG THANKS.

Funky Hands challenge - Show Us Your Heart!

Oh well I'm back sorry I have been MIA for sometime. Here's my card for the Funky Hands Challenge - Show Us your Heart! I have used some super gingham paper from my CD Craft The Year Away it's a super cd and I'm loveing all the extra things I can do. I used my Cricut to cut a heart out twice so to leave a gap for my spinning heart to go. I then used the the piece I had cut out to line the gap, finished of the edges with my ink pad. The sentiment"YOU make my heart SPIN" was printed on the computer then cut out on the Cricut. Not forgetting a few gems to finish off.
Side view to show the spinner (heart)
Thanks for popping in on me and I will do may best not to leave it so long next blog

Magnolia blog candy over on Loopy Lou's Loopy thoughts

Morning all, what a nice sunny morning it is here in Lincolnshire. Ground a bit hard from the frost over night but that's great for dog walking, at least he wouldn't get to dirty (well that's what I thought) until he found the muddy puddle around the horses water. Straight in the shower on his return home. lol Ok lets get on with what I came here to do, this is my card for the Blog Candy over on Loopy Lou's Loopy Thoughts . Oh I do love Tilda stamps so much, this is one of my favourite ones. I have used papers from Minds eye paper pack I got free with a magazine. Nice bit of lacy and some card candy. Bit of chalk here and there, a few flowers and some foliage from my Martha Stewart Punch and a tag to finish off. Thanks for dropping in and hope you like it, must go and got the house work done now!!!
